Speak out

Today we spoke about the speaking test. As the student know each other they introduce their partners in pairs. Apart from the name, age, location they described their clothes, their tastes, etc. They had to do a role-paper: They are now the examiners and their mission is to make up a speaking test.  The topic they chose among Family, Travelling, Hobbies, Food, Clothes, Business, Colours and Numbers was Sports . That was the questionaire: Why am I testing? Who are we testing? What am I testing? How am I scoring? How is my test benefitting learners? I, as a teacher, explained the different pronunciation of "their, they're and they". We played bingo games about the timing and flash cards rhymes.  Good luck with your Cambridge exam.

An Oral Presentation in the Past

Internet Searching: Learning Vocabulary

Today they booked an air ticket to their favourite city. But firstly they searched information on the web pages. 1.Map of the city. Google Maps 2.Weather forecast. Let's Go for a Trip

Today we went to London (simulation). We looked the weather on an application of the mobile telephone. In London in the afternoon it was very foggy and 11 degree Celsius. Are you a Fashion Victim?

Today we had an special visitor, A.J. Philp from U.K. She, as a fashion designer, explained us the diffent clothes, patterns and combination of colours in the English language. CLOTHES COMPLEMENTS She gave us an activity: 'Create your own design'   We were very competitive: Which one do you think is the best? Testing my English

They did the placement exam again. The conclusion was they have improved their English but they need to learn more theory to be satisfied.
